In the regular course of our auctions we typically encourage those just starting out to attend our Regional or Internet Only Auctions. These two auctions offer fantastic guns at prices more accessible to beginning collectors and also have plenty of collector firearms that still have plenty of shooting life left in them. However,
Friday, December 6th, the first day of the sale, will host a slew of items ready to be purchased by collectors of all levels. Shoppers of the Regional and Online Only Auctions need not wait; the December Premiere Auction will have plenty of choices available!

Colts
Colts are regarded as one of the "blue chips" of gun collecting. This auction will feature over 600 Colts! Smith & Wesson
The Smith & Wesson firearms in this auction aren't as plentiful as some of the other categories, but they more than hold their own when it comes to rarity and excellence. Early Volcanics rub elbows with the scarce Model 320 revolving rifles (there are three) and this is the second auction in a row that RIAC will sell a Smith & Wesson revolver that was exhibited at the 1893 Columbia Exposition, also known as the Chicago World's Fair. Here are a few that will be a fine addition to any collection.

Foreign Military
Another large category, there are over 400 foreign military items in this sale. Firearms with German origins abound and are more than the usual variety. There are prototype Walthers, Borchardts, lots of pistols with stocks, and even a one-of-a-kind DWM Model 1900 with a gold inlaid chamber. We regularly get this type of high quality collector firearms, but we can still find something for beginning collectors and even those who want something to shoot.
